Check out this recent review of our website that we just came across. And we got kudos on our webisodes. Apparently, we aren’t horrible on camera after all!

Optical Websites We Like – SF Optics
When thinking about doing a website, or updating your optical website- take a look at www.sfoptics.com. The site came to our attention because the blog section shows up in our google alerts. (A good thing)
What we like:
Home page : A welcoming ‘Come See Us’- in big letters with and an ‘insider view; of what is in the store: Plus: Styled by SF Optics-, hours opened, address, contact, email, phone and Twitter, YouTube and Facebook in BIG LETTERS. No need to search for contact and address info. I love the fact they have an email address. Yeah they get spam, but they want to make it as easy as possible to contact them.
At the top of the page: I don’t really like the black, but that is a personal thing: The top tabs should always stand out: Home, About Us, Contact (nice touch with a little picture of the store) Events- (I really like the calendar) Eyewear ( products listed), Press- (Makes them look like celebrities) YouTube Videos plus print) Blog (how they show up in search engines, and how they promote their office) Webisodes: (Humanizing and fun engaging the customer) Shop Online- and Search.
Event and Trunk Show Calendar
Since I am huge believer in Trunk Shows and special events in the store, I love this calendar part, it’s obviously planned out for the year and it can help their patients and future patients plan ahead for financial expenditures! It looks like they have at least one trunk show a month.
Recent Blog Posts: RSS Feed
Recent Blog posts vis RSS feed is predominately featured from their blog to their website. As you can see they really promote themselves, the products they stock with celebrities. Good key word search, image enhancer, plus most people want to go where the movie stars go.!
I reviewed some of their webisodes, and they were funny and humanizing. If I lived in San Francisco, I would go there to buy my glasses because the guys look like they are fun and would make me laugh, plus the product looks great.
