Polycarbonate lenses are impact-resistant, and thinner than regular plastic lenses.
They're great for active people — especially kids.
If you hate thick prescription eyeglasses, try lenses in a high-index material.
They offer superior optics in a thinner, lighter lens.
The higher the index, the thinner the lens. Available now are the 1.56, 1.60, 1.67, 1.70, and 1.74.
To improve both the vision through the lenses and the appearance of the glasses,
AR Coating (Anti-reflective coating or anti-glare coating) is recommended.
AR coating reduces glare, annoying reflections, and halos around lights.
AR coating also reduces both internal and external reflections on the lenses themselves,
creating a nicer cosmetic appearance.
Transition lenses change from light to dark depending on
the amount of ultraviolet light they are exposed to.
Polarized lenses make the best sunglass lenses.
As a bonus, we offer UV and scratch resistant coatings
on all our lenses at no additional charge.
