Paul Smith’s PS-3008 is a perfect replacement for the DISCONTINUED Beausoleil S/212 that Kyra Sedgwick wears on ‘The Closer.’ Not only is it similar, but its even better, and its available for online ordering!
So, we have been getting a ton of email inquiries about Kyra Sedgwick’s sunglasses on ‘The Closer,’ and a little web analytics has revealed many hits on our site for people searching for this frame. So we are going to do what we do best and give you the inside scoop on your favorite eyewear.
The frame that Kyra is wearing is a sunglass by Frederic Beausoleil, model S/212. Frederic Beausoleil is a French eyewear designer. And yes, we do carry his line. The ‘bad’ news is that this frame has been DISCONTINUED; It is no longer available. In fact, we sold the very last one that Beausoleil had.
The GOOD NEWS is that we have put our skills to the test to find the ultimate replacement for you. In the picture above to the right of Kyra in her frame, you can see Paul Smith’s PS-3008. This frame is very similar to the Beausoleil S/212, but perhaps even better
.
A ‘closer’ look reveals that the Beausoleil frame Kyra is wearing is in fact slightly to shallow (not enough depth in the frame vertically) and to boxy on the edges. This makes the frame run slightly wide for her face and boxes her up.
On the other hand, the Paul Smith PS-3008 is actually a much more attractive version of Kyra’s frame. You are going for the same look, but with finer details that will accentuate all of your best features. It is slightly narrower and with a little more depth, making it a much better fit size-wise for the average woman. It also has a little more of an outwards angle on the edges which in addition to the slight cat-eye, gives more of an upward lift (very inexpensive face-lift, right?) as opposed to the Beausoleil’s boxiness. The Paul Smith would definitely be a much better fit with its beautiful shape.
Why simply look like Kyra when you can actually look better? Purchase the Paul Smith PS-3008 below.

We’ve been getting tons and tons of emails pouring in asking about the frames that Kyra Sedgwick is wearing. Her hit show “The Closer,” a TNT Original Series, has made its impact getting everyone to try to close in on her frame.
Pictured below, Kyra is wearing her infamous Beausoleil frames. Unfortunately for everyone, her specific frame, model 410 color 300, is not only sold out, but discontinued. Another note to make however is that this frame in fact is originally designed as a sunglass, but the lenses were taken out of it so it could be worn as clear eyeglasses.

Another celebrity styled into Beausoleil frames is Zachary Levi, who is the star of the upcoming film “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel.” He wears model O365 color 300.
Frederick Beausoleil is a designer out of France and his Beausoleil collection is made in France. The collections is available for purchase at SF Optics.
